- For a limited time, when you become a member and open a new Sovita account, you can earn up to $150 in rewards:
- Get $50 when you open a new account with $1,500 in monthly direct deposits
- Get $50 when you open a checking account (with a debit card) and make 5 transactions
- Get $50 when you apply and receive approval for a loan or credit with a minimum credit line of $10,000
- A new member is a natural person who is not an owner or joint owner of any account at Sovita Credit Union as determined by their Social Security Number, and has not been a member of Sovita Credit Union within the past 30 days. Business entities, organizations, trusts or persons acting in a fiduciary capacity for someone else are not eligible for this promotion. Sovita Credit Union employees, officials and members of their immediate family members are not eligible for this promotion. A qualifying account is a share, checking, loan or credit card account described above and which is not subject to any other promotion elected by the new member at account opening.
- New accounts must be opened by June 30, 2023. No member may earn more than $50 in rewards per qualifying account type and no more than $150 in total rewards. You must mention this promotion at time of account opening. You must enroll in online banking and electronic statements in order to be eligible to receive rewards. Rewards will be paid after 90 days, provided all accounts are in good standing. Rewards will be deposited into your Share Account.
- The minimum balance required to open and maintain a Share Account is $5.00 plus a $0.25 membership fee. Share Accounts earn an Annual Percentage Yield of 0.30% as of March 31, 2023. This rate may change on a quarterly basis. Fees may reduce earnings. There is no minimum balance required to open a Checking Account.

- Receive $25 when your referral opens a New Share Account with a minimum of $500 in Direct Deposits within 45 days of becoming a member
- Receive another $25 when your referral opens a Checking Account with a Debit Card and makes at least one debit card transaction within 45 days of becoming a member.
- In addition you can receive another $25 when your referral applies for a loan or credit card (minimum $5,000)

- A new member/account is someone who is not an owner or joint owner of an account at Sovita Credit Union as determined by their Social Security Number.
- New Share Accounts opened for the Member Referral Program must be opened by July 1, 2021. Sovita Credit Union employees, officials and members of their immediate family members will not be paid referral fees and accounts opened for them will not qualify as referrals. A “referral” is defined as a natural person who has not been a member within the past 30 days. A “referral” does not include a business entity, an organization of any sort, a trust or a person acting in a fiduciary capacity for someone else.
- The $25 will not be paid if the referring member or an immediate family member of the referring members is in any way involved in providing real estate related services to the credit union or a credit union business partner and the loan involved is secured by real estate.
