Workers Credit Union was founded in 1914 by John Suominen, the owner of a successful printing company in Fitchburg. Between 1980 and 2007, Workers CU acquired or merged with 13 other Massachusetts credit union. Currently the fourth largest credit union in Massachusetts, Workers Credit Union has more than 105,000 members and assets in excess of $1.8 billion.
Rest assured, all funds are fully insured for up to $250,000, then the Massachusetts Share Insurance Corporation (MSIC) covers the rest. You can fund your account via ACH, wire, check, mobile check, or internal transfer.
