Montreal is an island in the St. Lawrence River. During June the island’s weather is less humid and mild then it it is the rest of the season. This time of year ideal for walks along the city’s cobblestone streets and soaks in the European feel of its neighborhoods. Plus, there are plenty of Montreal events in June to enjoy.
The first half of of June is the Mural Festival, which showcases street and public art along Boulevard Saint-Laurent, and the Montreal Grand Prix Formula One race takes over the city. On June 24th, the people of Quebec celebrate Saint Jean Baptist Day with parades, concerts, fireworks, picnics and bonfires. And at the end of the month into July is Montreal Jazz Festival, featuring music of all genres.

Mackinac Island during June is the perfect weather to experience the Victorian architecture, horse-drawn carriages and cozy cottages without a car in sight.

Loire Valley is a short train ride outside of Paris. The beautiful weather this time of year is delightful and you can enjoy it all without heavy tourist crowds. Definitely take the time to visit the medieval towns and villages in the area and plan on indulging in locally-made wine and cheese.
Automobile racing fans won’t want to miss out on the 24 Hours of LeMans, one of the oldest and most prestigious auto races in the world.

Visit the city’s oldest capitol during June and indulge in pleasant weather. Stroll down Canyon Road and browse shops and galleries for pottery, paintings, jewelry and sculptures. The Ultra Europe music festival also occurs during June with a lineup of big-name contemporary artists like Swedish House Mafia, Afrojack, The Chainsmokers and David Guetta.
