Fifth Third Bank just sent out many postcards with the $200 cash bonus checking promotion with a qualify direct deposit. The offer code on the mail piece must be presented at a banking center or referenced when opening account by phone to receive cash bonus. It has been confirmed that Fifth Third bank will not do a hard pull on your credit, only a soft pull and chex systems to open the checking account. Some users also reported an ACH push for Capital One 360 would work for Direct Deposit. Again, this deal is targeted. YMMV.
Physical Locations: Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Florida, Tennessee, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina and Missouri.
