Eligibility: Meridian Trust offers membership to anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Carbon, Fremont, Sweetwater and Uinta counties. In addition, employees and retirees of the State of Wyoming and University of Wyoming, active duty and retired military personnel and employees of all Wyoming public schools are eligible to join. You can even join if you have a family member who qualifies for membership, regardless of whether they’re actually a member or not! To receive the $200 bonus, the first step is to qualify for membership and open a MaxRewards Free checking account & meet the MaxRewards requirements.
- Keep a $1,000 minimum balance in your checking account.
- Make a minimum of 10 monthly debit card purchases of $5 or more.
- Sign up for eStatements.
- Set up one monthly direct deposit.
Please allow two (2) business days after the completion of requirements to receive a deposit of $200 into your MTFCU Checking Account.

To receive the $200 bonus, the first step is to qualify for membership and meet the MaxRewards requirements.
Then within 30 days of account opening you must sign up for eStatements, direct deposit, and online banking.
Reward is limited to one (1) unique primary owner, 18 years or older on one (1) new checking account. The primary owner is the owner whose U.S. taxpayer identification number is on the account and is used for tax reporting purposes. You are eligible for the $200 reward if you: 1) are either a new or existing member; 2) do not have a pre-existing MTFCU Checking account of any kind 3) are the primary owner of the new MTFCU Checking Account; (4) meet account qualifications; (5) have provided a U.S. taxpayer identification number and (6) your account(s) with MTFCU is/are in good standing.
