Are Banks Closed on Columbus Day 2021?
Whether you know it as Columbus Day or as Indigenous Peoples Day, October 11 is still a bank holiday for most banks. Before you try to go to a bank on that day, verify that your bank is open or closed. However, if your bank is not open, you can still conduct all your banking transactions online or through an ATM. American National Bank and TD Bank will still be open.

If you verify that your bank will be closed during Columbus Day, then you still have a couple of options for banking such as online banking and using an ATM. With an online bank account, you wil be able to check your balance, pay bills or transfer money. Alternatively, you can always wait to the preceding Friday do your banking.
