Memorial Day is the day where Americans honor and remember he brave Americans who have lost their lives serving their country in the military. This year, Memorial Day will occur on May 31, 2021. Most public services such as the post office, schools and libraries will be open because Memorial Day is not considered a federal holiday. However, the stock market will close on Memorial Day, so exchanges will not be trading.
