Bottom Line
This bonus at First National Bank is a great bonus with a low opening deposit and low direct deposit requirement. However, this bonus is targeted to select residents in select states. If you are not eligible for this offer, I would suggest you take a look at our complete list of bank promotions.
Your feedback is highly appreciated and makes our site even better!

The First National Bank $400 Bonus with Power Play Package is only for banks in PA, according to the banker that I spoke to at a branch in MD.
Also, the Power Play Package is a necessary addition to the Checking Account to receive the $400 bonus. That means you need the Power Play Debit Card, Power Play Credit Card, and there’s a $25 annual fee. If you’re applying for the Credit Card to complete the package, a hard pull would be necessary.
This is not written in the fine print for the activities required within your checking account only. It is written in the fine print when you try to Apply Online to the Power Play Package, and there’s a dropdown box for Technical Details which gives the fine print for the Power Play Package (which is not optional for the Bonus).
The fine print for the bonus at First National Bank states that the $600 offer is limited to just MD, DC, and one county in OH. Watch out for the fine print!
Is it possible to get this bonus if you are not targeted?
YES, if you can pull up a bonus offer code number on the internet, from the bank’s web-site, you can take advantage of their offer even if you did not get a targeted one in the mail. Make sure your address is within the state that the offer is extended to.
correction under FINE PRINT: Offer available through June 20, 2019.
offer expires July — not June
