More info about the bonus:

You will receive $200 in bonus rebates. Please allow 6 to 8 weeks after your first purchase for bonus rebates to post to your account. First purchase includes purchases, balance transfers, or any checks that are used to access your account. To qualify for bonus rebates, account must be open and not in default at the time of fulfillment. The bonus offer is valid only for first-time cardmembers with new accounts. Only one bonus per account. Existing cardmembers/accounts are not eligible for the bonus offer.

It seems like it would only work if you don’t have a Chase card especially not an existing Chase Freedom card member. If you don’t see the $200, open with a different browser or clear your cookies. Hurry, otherwise, I’m pretty sure it will be gone soon.

I am being cautiously optimistic here, but I think I qualified for the $250 bonus, the card has not arrived in the mail, but it shows up online and the bonus is present in the rewards section. Here’s the kicker – I sent in a separate application for my wife and she qualified as well – with a higher credit limit! Plus we both opened checking accounts at our local Chase brick and mortar branch last week for a $50 bonus apiece. I know we can’t count your chickens before they hatch, but I just started reading your blog two weeks ago and we might have made $600 from one bank – in two weeks time.

This looks like an awesome deal. I have actually been shopping for a new card. Our other one gives us airline miles, but using them sucks. I already have a Chase card. . .I might use this one even if they don’t give me the bonus. I’ll let you know.
