Dear Chase Representative,
I recently applied for my new Chase Freedom Card with a $200 sign up bonus after spending $500. Today, I learned of a new offer D1R  which promises 30,000 bonus points. I would be very appreciative if you could match the 30,000 bonus point offer D1R to me as well.

I’ve had the Chase Freedom card for almost five months now, but decided to give this a shot anyway. I copied and pasted the above example, switching a few words since I’ve had the card for a while, and e-mailed Chase last night. I wasn’t expecting anything when I clicked on my Ultimate Rewards balance this morning, but another 10,000 points ($100) had been added to my account! So I have now earned $300 just for having the card, excluding all the points I’ve earned from purchases. I can now see myself being a Chase customer for a long time! Btw, they just started a couple months ago a program to where if you have a Chase checking account, you get an additional 10 points per purchase, and also, at the end of every billing cycle, they give you an additional 10% of your points earned, therefore if you spent $1000 in a cycle, you get 1000 points + 100 extra. This is a great program!

After getting my card in the mail, I tried calling Chase twice, and both times they refused. So I sent a secure message (to their Ultimate Rewards Center) through my online account, just like this article told me to, and it worked! I had signed up for the $250 promotion, and they added 5,000 ($50) to my account to make up the difference. Perseverance pays off. Thanks to the writer of this article for the advice. (By the way, the word “long” is missing before the word “time” at the end of the message: “Being a time customer”… so you may want to add that in. Just FYI). Thanks again Hu$tler! :)

I’ve called to Chase to see whether they could match 30000 point offer. I’ve previously signed up via 25000 link that posted on slickdeals.net. What they respond is they could give me 5000 bonus right away but APR or any spending requirement cannot be changed.

I just went to Chase’s website and they have the Chase freedom card with a $100 intro promo after you spend $500 in 3 mo. Where did you guys get this $200 offer from and how do we know it works if its not listed on Chase’s site. I’m not referring to the D1R promo code but the initial $200 offer itself.

Offers will differ from one agent to another agent. Few of the offers may not be available with direct bank. Even I had the same question and enquired in the chase branch. I was updated that offers will change from agent to agent. Appled in chase branch for 200$ cash back and now approved for extra 100$ cash back.
