Chase Sapphire Preferred Review: Conclusion

Again, this is the best offer I’ve seen for the Chase Sapphire Preferred all year long with 40,000 bonus points after spending $4,000 in the first 3 months from account opening. If you add an authorized user and they make a purchase within the same time-frame, you will receive an additional 5,000 bonus points. The $95 annual fee may seem like a drawback, but the extra reward benefits and bonus points signup far outweigh the annual fee. Even so, you get a $0 intro annual fee for the first year. Believe me, you will want this card since it’s made out of real metal and will leave quite the impression to your friends and family!

There are a plethora of business credit cards out there, however the Chase Ink Cash Business Card offers some of the best rewards with $200 cash back signup bonus, no annual fee, and a superb rewards program.

2014 Chase Ink Cash Business Review

Chase Ink CashInk Cash® Business Card offers $200 cash back after you spend $3,000 in the first 3 months from account opening – one of the largest cash amounts ever offered for a business credit card. You receive 5% cash back on the first $25,000 spent annually at office supply stores, and on cellular phone, landline, internet, and cable TV services. The card also gives 2% cash rebate on the first $25,000 spent annually on gas and dining expenses, and 1% rebate on all other things. There is a 0% introductory APR for 12 months on purchases and balance transfers. Afterwards, the go-to APR of Regular APR: 13.24% (Variable). I personally prefer Ink Cash to the other Ink cards because you get cash back, generous cash rebates, and no annual fee for a business card!

You may not know this, but if you ever sell something on eBay, Craigslist, or do any freelance work, your business is called sole proprietorship. Simply use your name as business ID and Social Security number as tax ID on your application to apply.

Citi Double Cash CardCiti® Double Cash Card offers unlimited 1% cash back on all of your purchases when you buy and an additional 1% cash back as you pay for those purchases, whether you pay in full or over time. Unlike the Amex Fidelity card, you don’t need to apply for an extra account to get your cash back. The Citi Double Cash has no restrictive categories and no limits on the amount of cash back that you earn. Cards that offer 2% cash back usually don’t come around often so I strongly suggest to apply ASAP. You will also get 0% Intro APR on Balance Transfers and Purchases for 15 months. After that, the variable APR will be 12.99%-22.99%, based on your creditworthiness. The tier breakout as follows: 12.99%, 15.99%, 18.99%, 20.99%, and 22.99%. Some people will claim this is a 2-percent-cash-back card, but this may not be truly accurate. Let me explain: If you redeem your rewards for a statement credit, it will reduce the amount you owe by 1%, therefore the amount you can earn rewards on when you pay the rest of the bill. The math works out something to be like 1.99% cash back! Best of all, there is No Annual Fee!

How To Earn Maximum Cash Back:

As with most cards, you earn rewards as you make the purchase or on specific 5% categories such as restaurants or gas. Citi® Double Cash Card gives 1 percent back right away on any purchases. However, you will need to pay your card balance on time(whether you pay in full, or just the minimum) to get an additional 1 percent back on the payment you made. If you always pay your credit card bill off in full, then you are guarantee to receive your maximum cask back on all of your purchases.

The Citi Double Cash card has an EMV chip which allows you to use your card overseas where magnetic stripe cards aren’t accepted. I don’t recommend using this card overseas since there is a 3% foreign transaction fee. I don’t recommend carrying a balance beyond the 15 months 0% intro APR on purchases since the main draw is getting almost the full 2% cash back.

For those missing out the best all around cash back card, sign up now for the Citi® Double Cash Card with no annual fee. This will be your go to card whenever you are not sure about special categories or for simplicity with keeping just one card in your wallet!
